Meditation
At the Center, the main approach for those beginning the practice of meditation follows the model of the Western Daoist scholar B.K. Frantzis. Through a series of seated and standing exercises, techniques that focus on breathing, thoughts, emotions, and other internal experiences set the foundation for increasing awareness, calmness, and peace of mind. Once achieved, such techniques give the practitioner the means to access the wholeness of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual parts of the self.
Horacio also has drawn from a wide variety of sources, teachers, and practices.
These have included the very active physical meditation practices of
Osho and G.I. Gurdjieff, the cognitive approaches of great teachers
like J. Krishnamurti, and others.
